Standard Gas Spring SB1

Features

The standard gas spring offers support and thrust but does not have a locking function. It is filled with pressurized nitrogen, which generates a counterforce when compressed to support or offset the load.

It is generally recommended to install the gas spring with the shaft facing downward. This provides smooth cushioning at full extension and protects the mechanism. It also reduces dust accumulation at the oil seal and enhances the gas spring's support and thrust

Common applications include furniture cabinets, electronic equipment doors, automation equipment doors, metal enclosure doors, automotive hoods and tailgates, and industrial machinery doors.
