The dynamic damping gas spring provides support and thrust but does not have a locking function. It is filled with pressurized nitrogen to create counterforce when compressed, supporting or counterbalancing loads.

The spring features a special internal oil groove design and piston hole size that generates bidirectional dynamic damping throughout its range of motion. It also includes a deceleration function at full extension to ensure operator safety.

Dynamic damping gas springs are particularly suited for applications such as automation equipment doors, lifting hoods, and covers. They are commonly used in industrial equipment doors, automotive hoods and tailgates, furniture, cabinets, electronic equipment doors, and tool machine doors.
